The Player Character in Voyagers of Nera Running Up on a Makeshift House

Voyagers of Nera

In a tropical world, dark forces have taken over the land — and you're the only person equipped to fix things. In Voyagers of Nera, you and up to nine of your friends can dive into a fantasy survival crafting adventure set in a world filled with beautiful islands and deadly creatures.

Voyagers of Nera puts players in the shoes of an "Echo," a long-dormant race of humans who once protected the land and walked hand-in-hand with ancient spirits. Somehow, the Echoes disappeared a long time ago, and the world has since descended into chaos; all manner of evil creatures now pollute what was once a beautiful paradise.

Players can explore three distinct regions as part of the Early Access launch version of the game; each region adds new enemies to fight, new crafting materials to collect, and new challenges to overcome. Fortunately, you won't have to go it alone — you can adventure in the world of Nera on a server with up to 10 people total.

You'll do a fair amount of traveling, whether it's running through island ruins or sailing on the ocean with a "Skimmer" or a boat. Dozens of lost Guide Spirits are spread throughout the world, and you'll want to save each and every one of them to gain their power.

Back home, you can design a cozy base with a robust building system that allows for a decent amount of decoration. Players can build multiple bases protected by "Spirit Anchors" which give these spirits a safe haven, but you can also build structures anywhere to make it easier to navigate the perilous cliffs and ruins you'll explore.

Don't be fooled by the gorgeous art style and cozy vibes, though — Voyagers of Nera can be a properly challenging game that can catch you unawares if you head out into the world without the proper equipment and supplies!
