Do Crafting Materials Respawn?
Yes, crafting materials respawn in Voyagers of Nera, although it can take some time for items to reappear. You should always make an effort to pick up particularly valuable items such as Ancient Fragments and the like so you don't run out.
Where to Find Voyagers of Nera Crafting Materials
Below, you'll find a list of where to find all of the Voyagers of Nera crafting materials, along with pictures showing you what each item looks like.
Where to Find Alderleaf
Region: The Greatwood
Alderleaf is a yellow plant that looks somewhat similar to wheat. It is only found in The Greatwood region on the map, and it's mainly used for making potions.
Where to Find Amberite Ore
Region: The Greatwood
Amberite Ore is a type of metal found in The Greatwood; it's mainly used to craft the best weapons and armor for that region.
Where to Find Ancient Fragment
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Ancient Fragments can be found throughout the entire world of Nera. While you can find stray Ancient Fragments here and there, they are most commonly found in and near the major ruins in each region.
You'll want to grab Ancient Fragments at every opportunity; they're used to craft quite a few important items, and they're also necessary for upgrading your Spirit Anchor.
Where to Find Barkfin Plates
Region: The Greatwood
You can get Barkfin Plates by killing the Barkfin Fish, an underwater creature that can only be found in The Greatwood region.
Where to Find Bloodrot Nectar
Region: The Reef
You can get Bloodrot Nectar by harvesting Bloodrot Flowers in The Reef, the second major region of Nera. Harvesting Bloodrot Flowers also has a chance to give you some Flower Petals.
Where to Find Bramblefruit
Region: The Greatwood
Bramblefruit can only be found in The Greatwood; it is usually (but not always) found in the middle of a batch of Bramblevines.
Where to Find Bramblevine Thorn
Region: The Greatwood
You can get Bramblevine Thorns by destroying Bramblevines with your axe in The Greatwood region.
Where to Find Bubblesac
Region: The Greatwood
Bubblesac is a special plant that can be found attached to underwater pillars in The Greatwood; it's used to cook foods that give you a large bonus to your Oxygen stat.
Where to Find Clay
Region: The Reef
Clay can be found in deposits in or near shallow water in The Reef region; it's typically used for building Coralwood structures.
Where to Find Coconut
Region: The Embrace
Coconuts can be found at the base of trees in The Embrace; as far as we can tell, you can't find them in the other regions of the game.
Where to Find Construct's Gift
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Construct's Gift is a special item that is awarded to you upon completing ruins, whether it's by solving a platforming puzzle or defeating a Construct in combat.
Like all crafting materials, the Construct's Gift will eventually respawn in a roundabout way; you can choose to fight the Construct again after some time has passed to earn another one from ruins you've already cleared.
Where to Find Coralwood
Region: The Reef
Coralwood can be acquired by chopping down the tree-like reddish-pink coral plants that can be found on higher ground in The Reef region.
Where to Find Dawnberries
Region: The Reef
Dawnberries can be found throughout The Reef region; they are often found on top of the flat coral plates on the high ground.
Where to Find Deepling Bones
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
You can get Deepling Bones by killing any Deepling creature, whether it's the fish types that stalk the waters or the land-based versions that start appearing in The Reef. Higher-level enemies will drop greater amounts of Deepling Bones.
Where to Find Deepling Hide
Region: The Reef, The Greatwood
Deepling Hide is most commonly found by killing the shark-type Deeplings found in The Reef and beyond; higher-level enemies will drop a greater number of this item.
Where to Find Deepling Ichor
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Deepling Ichor can be acquired by killing Deeplings; as with other resources from these enemies, you're more likely to get a greater amount of this material by killing higher-level enemies.
You can also get Deepling Ichor by destroying the green sacs surrounding an Abyssal Spire.
Where to Find Deepling Morsel
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Deepling Morsels are occasionally dropped by higher-level Deepling enemies.
Where to Find Earthen Strand
Region: The Greatwood
Earthen Strands are only found in The Greatwood Region; you can typically find them in stone ruins hidden away in caves. Look for the floating yellow strand of energy.
Where to Find Elderwood Log
Region: The Greatwood
You can get Elderwood Log by chopping down the large trees with glowing blue trunks found in The Greatwood region. You can also get Elderwood Log by chopping the larger logs on the ground in that region.
Where to Find Fish Chunks
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
You can get Fish Chunks by killing any non-Deepling Fish found in the waters of Nera.
Where to Find Flower Petal
Region: The Reef, The Greatwood
You can most easily get Flower Petal by harvesting Starfall Blossoms in The Reef region. You also have a chance to get Flower Petal by harvesting Bloodrot Flowers in The Reef or Titanroot in The Greatwood.
Where to Find Freshberry
Region: The Embrace
You can get Freshberry right outside of the Awakening Chamber at the very start of the game; this delicious fruit can also be found throughout The Embrace region in various places.
Where to Find Glowflies
Region: The Greatwood
Glowflies can be found huddled in swarms in The Greatwood region; they are most easily spotted at night by looking for their yellowish glow.
Where to Find Glowstone
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Glow Crystals can be found underwater in all regions of Nera; they're typically found in clusters attached to coral structures.
Where to Find Hardened Shell
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
You can get Hardened Shell by killing crab-type enemies in The Embrace and beyond. Higher-level Deepling enemies may occasionally drop Hardened Shell in the later areas such as The Greatwood.
Where to Find Hunter Mask Fragment
Region: The Greatwood
You can get Hunter Mask Fragment by killing the tall, caster-type creatures in The Greatwood.
Where to Find Hunter Tuft
Region: The Greatwood
You can get Hunter Tuft by killing the masked Hunters with the red polearms found throughout The Greatwood.
Where to Find Luma Fruit
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Luma Fruit can be found underwater in all regions of the game, especially in shallower waters; keep an eye out for teal orbs on the ocean floor.
Where to Find Mana
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Mana can be found throughout the entire world as glowing blue circles on the ground. You'll also get Mana from killing many different types of enemies, especially the construct-type enemies found in and near ruins.
Where to Find Meat Chunk
Region: The Greatwood
Meat Chunk can be acquired by killing the massive boars found in The Greatwood region. Killing these creatures can also get you the Tough Hide crafting material.
Where to Find Pearl
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Pearls are rare drops that you can get by harvesting the giant clams found on the ocean floor in all regions.
Where to Find Plant Fiber
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
As you might expect, you can get plant fiber by tearing up bushes and other similar plants in all regions.
Where to Find Poison Gland
Region: The Greatwood
Poison Glands drop from the massive spiders that stalk The Greatwood region; these spiders also drop Silk.
Where to Find Redcap Mushroom
Region: The Greatwood
Redcap Mushrooms can be found in clusters throughout The Greatwood region.
Where to Find Resin
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
You can acquire Resin by chopping down normal trees with an axe in any region. Naturally, this will also get you Wood.
Where to Find Rock Salt
Region: The Reef, The Greatwood
Rock Salt can be found attached to certain rocks underwater, starting in the Reef region; it is primarily used for cooking food and crafting leather.
Where to Find Sea Glass
Region: The Reef, The Greatwood
Sea Glass can be found in clusters on beaches and in shallow waters starting in The Reef region.
Where to Find Seaweed
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Seaweed can be found throughout the entire world of Nera; look for large groups of tall plants in underwater areas.
Where to Find Sharpstone
Region: The Embrace
Sharpstone can be acquired by breaking the large dark purple rocks in The Embrace region. It's quite heavy, so make sure to bring a boat if you want to collect a large quantity of it.
You'll need Sharpstone to build some of the basic crafting workbenches and other structures for a base, so make sure to take some with you when you move on to other regions; otherwise, you'll have to travel all the way back to The Embrace to get more at a later time.
Where to Find Shellfish
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
You can get Shellfish by harvesting the giant clams on the ocean floor that are found throughout the entire world. These clams may rarely give you a Pearl, as well.
Shellfish can also be acquired by harvesting the glowing green worms that are often found next to Rock Salt deposits starting in The Reef region.
Where to Find Shimmerscale
Region: The Reef, The Greatwood
You can get Shimmerscale by killing Shimmerscale Charger fish in The Reef region. This item will also rarely drop from higher-level enemies in The Greatwood.
Where to Find Silk
Region: The Greatwood
You can get Silk by killing the giant spiders found in The Greatwood region; these spiders will also drop Poison Sacs.
Where to Find Sour Gourd
Region: The Reef
Sour Gourds can be found on the ground in The Reef region; look for the glowing blue stalks sticking out of the top of the plants.
Where to Find Stone
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
Stone can be found throughout the entire world of Nera; you can either grab loose stones off of the ground or break up larger rocks with a pickaxe.
Where to Find Tidemetal Ore
Region: The Reef, The Greatwood
Tidemetal Ore can be acquired by breaking up the shiny blue rocks with grooved lines found in The Reef. You can also get Tidemetal Ore as a random drop from higher-level, land-based Deepling enemies.
Where to Find Titanroot
Region: The Greatwood
Titanroot can be found on the ground and in shallow waters throughout The Greatwood.
Where to Find Tough Hide
Region: The Greatwood
You can get Tough Hide by killing the giant boars found in The Greatwood; these boars also drop Meat Chunks.
Where to Find Volatile Gland
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
You can get Volatile Gland by destroying the explosive urchins that serve as mines protecting ruins, Abyssal Spires, and other areas all throughout the land.
These mines can be safely destroyed from a distance by shooting them with a bow. That said, the Volatile Gland will still drop even if you accidentally crash into the mines with your boat.
Where to Find Water Strand
Region: The Embrace
You can find Water Strands in The Embrace by looking for glowing blue streaks of energy underwater. These items are typically located near stone structures and near ruins.
Where to Find Wax Bulbs
Region: The Reef, The Greatwood
Wax Bulbs can be harvested by collecting them from the larger kelp with bulbs found in The Reef and beyond.
Where to Find Whitecap Mushroom
Region: The Embrace, The Greatwood
Whitecap Mushrooms can be found in caves in The Embrace and The Greatwood. These areas are often dark and it can be hard to see them, so make sure to bring a source of light with you.
Where to Find Wind Strand
Region: The Reef
Wind Strands can be found throughout the Reef, typically in ruins on higher ground. Keep an eye out for the streaks of green energy near stone structures.
Where to Find Wood
Region: The Embrace, The Reef, The Greatwood
You can get Wood by picking up sticks or chopping down the normal trees in any of the game's regions.
Where to Find Yamroot
Region: The Greatwood
Yamroot can typically be found near the shore or in shallow waters throughout The Greatwood region.
