In this guide, we explain how the Voyagers of Nera building system works and how you can use it to build a base and make shortcuts in the world.

How the Voyagers of Nera Building System Works
The Voyagers of Nera building system allows you to place structures virtually anywhere in the world, including over water. Typically, you'll want to build a "frame" structure first; you can then snap a floor, walls, and a roof to that frame. You can also snap multiple frames together to make a larger building and/or a multi-story building.
At the minimum, you'll want a single room with a roof over it; this is a requirement for using a bed to sleep and pass the night quickly. Naturally, you'd probably want to have an area for storage and your crafting workbenches as well.
Most players will want to have some kind of structure serving as a base within the radius of your Spirit Anchor. It's best to have one Spirit Anchor in each region and one main base in the entire world; you can eventually fast travel between regions by using the Ancient's Gate once you've unlocked them and placed them in your bases.
You can build in areas other than your base as designated by the Spirit Anchor's radius. This gives you the opportunity to create staircases or bridges to navigate the world more easily.
Be advised, the building system can get a little janky at times; occasionally, awnings or support beams may clip through floors. For now, it's probably best to focus on building larger single-story structures rather than multi-floor buildings, where possible.
How to Unlock More Building Pieces
You can unlock more building pieces in Voyagers of Nera by acquiring new building recipes in the Knowledge Tree. Certain building items (such as the Imbued Storage Chest) can't be unlocked until you rescue the associated Guide Spirit first.
