Hello Games has released a brand new No Man's Sky update, and it allows you to create your very own Corvette-class starships with "full creative freedom", the studio says.
Voyagers follows on from June's Beacon update, which also brought confirmation that the space sim would hit the Switch 2. This time around, the big new draw is the ability to create "your own colossal, fully furnished, completely bespoke Corvette-class starship", as Hello Games says.
According to the developer, "every section of hull, every wing and peripheral, every internal corridor and bunk bed" can be selected and assembled according to your whims, and not only that, but you can step out of your new ship's accessway and float around anywhere in space that you want.

To go with the new Corvette-class ship-building system, new Thunderbird-class habitations have also been added, allowing you to kit out your ship with "highly pragmatic, raw, and gritty" interiors.
If you need motivation to build your new ship, you'll find a new community expedition that tasks you with constructing a new starship after your last one gets "damaged beyond repair". A Sentinel horde closes in, so you'll need your new Corvette to fight back.
You'll also find a ton of other new features, including console button rebinding, the ability to transport your friends in your Corvette as part of your crew, and new graphics tech that should make glass windows and other translucent surfaces look "more beautiful and more realistic".
You can check out a trailer for the No Man's Sky Voyagers update, which shows off some of the new features you can expect in the game, right here.
If you want to see everything that's new in the Voyagers update, make sure to read the official patch notes via the game's website. There's plenty to pore over!
No Man's Sky's Voyagers update is available across all platforms right now, and you can check the game out on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and the Nintendo Switch console family.
