In this guide, we'll explain how Hell is Us Timeloops work, how you can collapse Timeloops, and where you can find the Amine Prisms you need to remove them.
How Timeloops Work
Hell is Us Timeloops are moments of great pain that have trapped the souls of people forever. Timeloops are large black orbs with spikes popping out of them. Although they look dangerous, they cannot harm you while you are outside of them.
All Timeloops are protected by a number of Timeloop Guardians, which are special Lymbic Entities placed throughout a Location. Timeloop Guardians can be found with a Guardian Detector, an item that you'll receive after you travel to Vyssa Hills, solve the puzzle of Pentos Algea, and speak with Gildas Brom in the Watcher's Nest.
Whether you have the Guardian Detector or not, you can remove the spiky barrier from a Timeloop by killing all of the Timeloop Guardians tied to it. When all of a Timeloop's Guardians have been killed, you'll hear a loud sound akin to a foghorn signaling that the Timeloop can now be collapsed.
It should be noted that many Locations have more than one Timeloop. You may have to travel around the Location at length to kill the correct Timeloop Guardians for a particular Timeloop as there is no way to really tell which Timeloop Guardians are associated with which Timeloop.
How to Close Timeloops
You can close Timeloops by killing all of the Timeloop Guardians associated with a Timeloop, entering the Timeloop, and using the correct type of Amine Prism with your Drone.
Be warned: getting too close to the center of a Timeloop can injure or even kill you. Do not approach the event in the center of the Timeloop; interact with your Drone instead!

Rho
- Received from Gildas at the Watcher's Nest in Vyssa Hills for completing Good Deeds.
- In the yellow sector of floor B1 in the Auriga Museum, on the body of a scientist should you open the yellow doors without killing all of the Entities.
- In the B1 Observatory - Timeloop Safe of Auriga Museum, opened with Code 77777 as detailed in a computer on Level B3.
- Through the keystone door towards Mount Obek in Lake Cynon. Found in the Eye of God room.
- Found at the top of the stairs after the Arcas Spire door puzzle in Senedra Forest.
- Down the path with the tablet "This door you must cross" in the Temple of the Fallen in the Plains of Mist.
- Inside the Vault of the Beck in Marastan, a Vault of Forbidden Knowledge.
Sigma
- Received from Gildas Brom after solving the puzzle of Pentos Algea in The Watcher's Nest in Vyssa Hills.
- Found in the Vault of the Copse behind the OMSIF camp in the hills of Vyssa Hills.
Theta
- In the yellow sector of floor B1 in Auriga Museum, on the body of a scientist should you open the yellow doors without killing all of the Entities.
- In the B1 Observatory - Timeloop Safe of Auriga Museum, opened with Code 77777 as detailed in a computer on Level B3.
- Inside the Lymbic Chest - Marastan, Ruins in Marastan.
- Found at the top of the stairs after the Arcas Spire door puzzle in Senedra Forest.
- Received from Gildas at the Watcher's Nest in Vyssa Hills for completing Good Deeds.
