Hell is Us Lake Cynon Reservoir Puzzle Solution

Now that you've figured out the puzzle in the Watcher's Nest, it's time to move on to Lake Cynon. The Hell is Us Lake Cynon Reservoir puzzle solution is surprisingly simple, but it's easy to miss things if you don't explore carefully. Let's get started!

A rectangular reservoir sits in the middle of a field in the Lake Cynon Location on the map. This reservoir actually conceals the entrance to the Lymbic Forge, an ancient stronghold of a long-gone order that fought against the Lymbic Entities you've been battling all this time.

There are five statues with five circles arranged vertically in the area immediately surrounding the reservoir. Each statue has one symbol in only one of the circles, giving you the combination code to solve this puzzle. Unfortunately, one of the statues is face down.

By exploring the area (and inferring the missing symbol), we can determine the order for the combination code. It is, from top to bottom:

1. Crown (Statue on some rocks on the high ground southwest of the pool)
2. Water (Statue north of the pool, next to a nearby picnic area)
3. Key (assumed to be the broken statue to the Northwest of the pool, which you can't see)
4. Star (A toppled statue on an overgrown stone structure on the west side of the pool)
5. Cup (Statue on the east side of the pool, facing the lake)

Note that there are also several pointed statues sitting atop spheres surrounding the reservoir. Each has one of the five symbols on it; you must hit these statues with a melee attack in the correct order. When you've done so, a stone machine will rise out of the water and a circular door will open up by the nearby stairs.

Run over to the circular door surrounded by a ring of light to get a gear. Then, insert the gear into the stone device that rose out of the water. The water will automatically begin to drain. Give it some time to drain, and don't try to dive in — taking too much fall damage or hitting the water will kill you.

When you reach the bottom, you'll be able to enter the Lymbic Force, a massive dungeon that was once the stronghold of an ancient order. Once you complete it, you'll be able to unlock some new areas, one of which has a challenging safe code to uncover.
