In this guide, we'll tell you how to solve the Hell is Us Gorge of Our True Sacrament puzzle so you can get the Keystone of Ecstasy in the Temple of the Fallen, deep below the Plains of Mist.

Hell is Us Gorge of Our True Sacrament Puzzle Solution

Now that you've opened the door for the Trial of Lies and Truths, it's time to tackle the Hell is Us Gorge of Our True Sacrament puzzle. First, you'll encounter a save point. Save your game.

Turn right, and turn right again; this will take you to a ladder that you can climb. A lever is at the top of the ladder. Pull the lever, and it opens up metal gates on both sides of the gorge. Head back down the ladder and cross over the bridge with the arch that says "Here begins the Gorge of Our True Sacrament."

The idea here is you must learn the four "Sacraments" of Teaar and the order they go in. This knowledge will then be used to solve another pressure plate puzzle. As before, stepping on the wrong pressure plate will cause you to fall to your death and you'll have to run all the way back up to the puzzle room, so let's get it right the first time!

Straight ahead is a tablet with a symbol of hands with a chalice above it. This first tablet says:

Hands with a Chalice: First Sacrament: Preparation for the sacred day of reckoning is our ultimate duty.

To the right is a ladder that leads to another ladder. At the top of both of these ladders, there is another tablet with a Dagger and Eye symbol.

This tablet says:

Dagger and Eye: Second Sacrament: As is our will, the wrath of unbelievers shall fall upon us.

Opposite the tablet is a wooden scaffold; this is the opposite side of the gorge from where you opened the gates.

To your left, you'll see wooden scaffolding. You can drop down several levels and you'll end up on the opposite side of the gorge from where you entered. Walk forward and turn left. You'll enter a chamber with stairs going up past some Lymbic Entity statues.

Walk to the right of the stairs and you'll see a tunnel. Go into it and you'll see a wooden bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left; a short distance away, you'll find a skeleton with Key - Rusted, an Investigation Item that you'll be using shortly.

Head southwest on this side of the gap and turn left; you'll see a Lymbic Entity guarding a locked door. Kill the Lymbic Entity. Open up the door and you'll find a couple of Miscellaneous Items in this room and the Research Item "Skull in a Box."

Go back out to the room where you killed the Lymbic Entity. Head Northeast and you'll find another Sacrament on a tablet with two snakes above it.

This tablet reads:

Twin Snakes: Fourth Sacrament: Only through our sacrifice, the gates of the Himolara Fields shall open once more for Teaar to reclaim his realm.

Turn around and head southwest. You'll have to kill another Lymbic Entity. This room has another tablet with a praying man getting backstabbed as the symbol above it.

This tablet reads:

Impaled Man: Third Sacrament: As their wrath descends, we shall beseech our Lord Teaar.

Head north into a tunnel where you can pull a lever and open a gate. Don't go through it, though; we're going to backtrack to the room with the staircase. This time, we're heading upstairs.

Go upstairs and cross the stone bridge. You'll see a path heading down with a Lymbic Entity in the distance, with Lymbic Entity statues on either side of the downward staircase. Before proceeding forward, turn left and you can get the Twin Axes of Ecstasy.

Head down the stairs and kill the Lymbic Entity, which also happens to be a Timeloop Guardian. Pull the lever to open the door in front of you.

This next room is where we'll solve the Sacraments puzzle. There are four rows of four pressure plates. You need to not only step on the correct pressure plates, but you must step on them in the correct order.

An important note: if you step on the wrong pressure plate, the floor will open up and you will fall to your death below. It's quite annoying to run back here, so make sure to only step on the correct plates and in the correct order!

Here is the order to step on the pressure plates, from the entrance of the room toward the door at the back:

1. First Row: Hands with a Chalice (farthest right pressure plate)
2. Second Row: Dagger with an eye (second pressure plate from the left)
3. Third Row: Impaled man (farthest right pressure plate)
4. Fourth Row: Coiled twin snakes (farthest left pressure plate)

This will open the door ahead of you, revealing a save point and allowing you to progress further into the Temple of the Fallen. Further ahead, you'll find a Lymbic Chest and a lever to open the next door beyond it.

Walk further ahead and you'll find the Keystone of Ecstasy. You won't be able to pick it up just yet, though — you'll have to battle a boss to claim this final Keystone. After that, there is only one more major puzzle to complete: the Orbs in the Failsafe Room.
