How Hell is Us Defensive Gear Works
All Hell is Us Defensive Gear increases your Damage Absorption and Endurance (health) while equipped. You can have a maximum of 2 pieces of Defensive Gear equipped at any one time.
In addition to Damage Absorption and Endurance bonuses, all Defensive Gear items will have special effects. Nearly all other Defensive Gear effects are conditional, such as triggering when you attack an enemy or requiring you to remain undamaged for them to be in effect.
How to Upgrade Defensive Gear
You can upgrade your Defensive Gear by rescuing Victor Gaz in the Akasha Marshes and exploring Vitalis' basement with the key provided to you by Victor. Once you're done, you'll find that Victor has set up in the old blacksmith shop across the street.
As with weapons, Victor can upgrade the capabilities of Defensive Gear to improve its stats. You'll need to find manuals on Lymbic Forging throughout the world to allow for higher and higher upgrades.
How to Increase Your Health in Hell is Us
You can increase your Endurance (health) in Hell is Us by upgrading your Defensive Gear at Victor Gas in the Village of Jova. Additional upgrades can be unlocked by finding Lymbic Forging manuals and bringing them to Victor.
