Yep, you read right. CISPA is currently DOA (Dead on Arrival) in the United States Senate.

According to various news sources, the United States Senate will not be bringing the internet bill, CISPA, to the floor. Personally, this is a huge sigh of relief, even with the more recent legislation passing that allows corporations to share information with each other without penalty, something that was formerly protected. But we can get into that another time!

For now, the key is that CISPA is currently dead. Chances are, it won't stay dead, but at least we can breath a sigh of relief for a few months.
