About Brittany Alva

Brittany's been gaming since she could walk -- literally. A doctor told her parents to get her a handled console to improve her hand-eye coordination because she was so clumsy. Her family also loved gaming, so she grew up playing games like Harvest Moon, Pokemon, and random RPGs like Breath of Fire and Skyrim. After getting a bachelor's degree in English, she went on to become a freelance writer in the gaming industry. She's also studying to become a Narrative Writer in the games.

Now, she spends most of her time playing League of Legends, card games, and cozy titles, especially those with deep story-driven gameplay and intricate characters. If she's not on her PC or playing her Switch, she's taking care of her young daughter who also enjoys watching her parents play games (and will hopefully enjoy them herself when she can hold a controller). Brittany also enjoys cross-stitching, reading, and being overly critical of music.

She loves writing reviews and guides so she can analyze games as an art form while also helping people with things that might be right under their nose. She also enjoys discussing the industry as a whole, whether that's with news or reflecting on the impact of events and games.
